The Cherry Tasteborghini Brownie with Smoked Sea Salt and Pecan Dusting!

Welcome again to Brownies and Coffee. If you are a returning visitor, you know what to expect in my attempts to wake up your taste buds with an outright face plant into the indulgences of brownies and coffee. This culinary hobby and passion that I have always had in making brownies all with a unique twist, is kind of now an unbelievable experience with all the attention erupting from this blog. This particular brownie is called "The Cherry Tasteborghini with Smoking Sea Salt Pecan Dusting". Be on the lookout for this delicious recipe in the soon to be released book, Brownies and Coffee.

The inspiration for the creation of this brownie, was a day unlike other days in that it's not every day that you're in a machine which is capable of launching you right into outer space

So what happened ...

As many of you will discover in my soon to be released book Brownies and Coffee, I'm from Detroit nicknamed the Motor-City and birthplace of the American Car Industry. And one thing that you have to know about this city is that almost everyone growing up in Detroit has some direct or indirect connection to the automobile industry. I was undoubtedly one of those kids growing up there who had numerous experiences related to cars, auto shows, and Detroit street drag racing. Every Saturday night it seemed as a teenager, you could count on a cruising parade of Street Rods assembling at the famous White Castle hamburger joint, located at Livernois and Warren Ave. All the vehicles had been finely tuned in backyard garages all week, in anticipation of smoking our tires on the pavement of the White Castle parking lot, only to have everyone "ooh and aahhh" at your meticulously polished, loud exhaust grumbling, display of 4-wheeled horsepower.

I will never forget those days and was fondly reminded recently of my old car, a cherry red with black racing striped, 1972 Chevrolet Chevelle Super Sport - 454 cubic-inch large block engine with a 4-11 posi-trac rear end; when a buddy of mine brought out the very rare 2019 Lamborghini Aventador SVJ Limited Edition. This is the type of vehicle where you are handpicked and offered the opportunity to purchase one of these bad boys! Oh My God, what a beast of a mechanical marvel this was, in fact just sitting behind the steering wheel and pressing on the accelerator made my hands tremble. The Aventador is without question a vehicle not for the timid, going from 0 - 60mph in just 2.5 seconds with a price tag equally as explosive. If this vehicle had wings on it, I'm almost sure it could be launched into space. It was totally an awesome experience and big shout out to Nate!

Newby and the Aventador, talk about a Great Day!

I was so inspired by this moment and memory of my own cherry red "72" SS Chevelle muscle car, I just had to create a "Cherry Tasteborghini with Smoking Sea Salt Pecan Dusting Brownie" for the drag racers out there. (and us regular folks too)

What's under this Cherry Brownies hood

This brownie is loaded with folded in double rich chocolate goodness, and the star ingredients are fresh cherries, which are known to promote heart health and enhance muscle performance. Cherries are an excellent source of vitamin C, potassium, fiber and several other nutrients that your body needs to function. Cherries are rich in antioxidants, anti-inflammatory compounds, and polyphenols which fight against cellular damage.

Summary on the "Cherry Tastborghini with Smoking Sea Salt Pecan Dusting Brownie," it's a sure-fire burning rubber winner which will have you accelerating with new energy especially when paired with a double shot of espresso coffee. Enjoy!

Leaving you in Smoked Sea Salt, Pecan Dusting, totally Ummy!
